Paolo has been working as a wood carver since when he was 14 years, following his great-grandfather’s, grandfather’s and his father’s footsteps. Above all is the passion that pushes you to know how to use the countless iron tools, each of which leaves a characteristic “fingerprint”, and it is able to refine and mould the wood shape in different ways. “It is good to use as many types of iron as you can – Paolo highlights – because each one creates a different sign, practically a different job process.”
The carver talks about his job with emotion, a job that is today so much appreciated by the connoisseurs of art furniture, during a gala evening organised by CHIODELLI ARTE to present the craft professionalisms which are involved in the realisation of its luxury interiors.
