The MUDEC, Museum of Cultures of Milan, with its harmonious and ethereal forms, presented an exciting challenge for Chiodelli Arte, which hosted its prestigious international guests at the Chiodelli Soirée organized during the last Salone del Mobile. Chiodelli Arte, whose core lies in the customization of luxury interiors and furnishings and whose benchmark is productive excellence, demonstrated its mastery through a series of pieces that harmoniously blended with the sinuous forms of the museum setting.
Among the furniture pieces created for the event, a standout is a modular ottoman that follows the fluid lines of the MUDEC. This piece offers a modular composition that seems to reflect the museum’s flexibility in hosting exhibitions and artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. The ability to vary the configuration of the ottoman embodies the same versatility and openness to various artistic expressions that characterize the MUDEC.
Another distinctive element of the setup was the round tables with a multi-layered top, crafted to highlight the wooden core, accentuated by a brilliant polish. The tubular support provides a lightweight design that perfectly complements the museum’s ethereal aesthetic.
The bookshelf demonstrated Chiodelli Arte’s skill in working wood into unusual and seamless forms, creating a piece that is both functional and artistic. The ExtraSize armchairs, inspired by the 1960s and reimagined in a modern key with white and gold fabrics and crescent-shaped armrests, completed the setup with a touch of retro elegance.
